It’s an extremely light week due to the holiday this weekend. Actually, it’s looking pretty light until we hit the new year. Take the time to kick back with a puzzle, binge your favorite tv show, have some tea or a hot toddy, and just relax as much as you can around the holidays. I personally will be recovering from my weekend of riding with a Harry Potter marathon or three cozied up in a blanket with some hot tea.

This past week was one of mainly reflection. This time last year, I wasn’t able to work on my calendar posts due to a medical issue and I was struck by how far someone can come in a year. A year is a long time, even though it feels shorter and shorter as I get older, but so many things can change. I’m happy for my health. I’m happy that I can go enjoy shows and do other activities that bring me joy. I also hope to close this year out with a few more solid shows under my belt. It’s December all of a sudden (I feel like I’m stuck in October) and before you know it, we will be in 2023. Ahhhhhh!!!

This week was spent enjoying and reliving the fabulous dance party that was The Wrecks show at the House of Blues. While I wish I could’ve also attended the Wonderfront Festival, it was not something I could pull together this weekend. With the holiday this week, expect it to be a slow calendar. I had the perfect show experience with The Howls on Saturday. I was able to sit, eat, they played early, and I was in bed before midnight. Call me old but it was wonderful!!
