I’m still riding that post show high courtesy of the double header of The Silent Comedy this weekend. Those guys just warm my heart so much. It’s kind of hard to put into words. And while their shows are few and far between these days, I always have the absolute best time with their music and friends I’ve made from their shows. I could probably go on but I’m just going to stop right there.

We have a massive heat wave coming this week and I am less than thrilled about the whole thing. This past week has been bliss with it being milder and even a little cold in the mornings. This upcoming week has temperatures averaging in the high nineties, I’m not sure how super coherent I’ll be at the end of the day. One thing is for sure, I’m not missing the two (!!) So, Hans Zimmer live was absolutely amazing!!! He and his orchestra did a bunch of stuff from Pirates of the Caribbean, Inception, Lion King, Man of Steel, and so much more. It was full of feels, love, passion, and excellence.

My birthday is next week and I don’t really have anything planned for right now. I’ll take any suggestions. Already going to Disneyland with my mom on the day of but I’d like to find something else to do with friends…

I’m still in NYC but only for one more day. It’s been an absolutely amazing time here with good friends, good food, and good musicals. If you ever get the chance to see The Great Comet, I highly encourage you to do so! I also went to a midnight film screening of 68 Kill starring Matthew Gray Gubler, who came and did a Q & A before the movie. That was a truly unique experience. We don’t get a lot of film screenings in San Diego, let alone with a Q & A from a star in the movie. I am looking forward to coming home though. As much fun as this has been, I miss my horse, my dog, and my gym friends.

Well I had an interesting weekend. Well, it wasn’t all that interesting but more of a big reminder of what it’s like to be at a show where the core audience is under 21s. There were a few families with kids and one boy looked as young as 10. The majority were the screaming girls who know the words to every song. I went into the show only knowing their hit song from YouTube but I was happily surprised with the whole thing. However, there was an ill placed strobe light that was highly annoying because it was right in our eyes. I am very thankful that we had seats though because I’m not sure I could have hacked it otherwise.

This week, I’m heading off to New York for some Broadway, food, culture, and fun so from Wednesday on, please head out in my stead!

Comic Con is finally over. It was crazy madness. It was like being a petrie dish. It was like being a sardine and a cow (or sheep) at the same time. It was magical. Also, I made it out to the Creature show. I didn’t stay the whole night but I still made it out and that still counts. I’m hoping for not too much of a letdown because I have one week free before I’m off to New York to spend some quality times with some quality friends. But this week has some goodies in store to keep me going, if I can keep my eyes open.
