I had a very busy but extremely fun weekend filled with out of town friends, a birthday karaoke party, and Emo Night Brooklyn. I’m still recovering and I have to hurry before I head out of town for Bottlerock this weekend in Napa. I’ll probably be keeping a low profile for the part of the week I’m here. I’ve been living vicariously through others photo posts of Coachella. I’m not really sad I’m not there because I don’t miss the heat and dust but it’s been nice to view from afar. I had no shows this week but I did spend a day doing a cross-country clinic on my horse. We had a good time but I think I’m still recovering. This week seemed both long and short. I can’t believe I spent Tuesday at House of Blues for The Hunna/Coasts show because that seems so long ago but I also can’t believe it’s already Sunday. I had a great time at the show on Tuesday (despite being very tired) and made some new friends, one from LA and one from down here (hi Erin!). I’m super glad I bought my ticket ahead of time so that I would actually make it to the show. Totally worth leaving the house to attend.

I don’t know if I’ll be making it out to any shows this week. I’m on call for jury duty for the whole month of April and I get to call again tonight after 6pm to find out if I have to go in. I suppose it’s better than a wasted day but it’s hard to be “on call” because then I’ll have to rearrange my plans for the week. We shall see…
