After all my Warped adventures, it’s been hard to get myself out of the house. I did manage to see Joan Jett and The Blackhearts at the fair this week which was a blast. Did you see my show review? Anyways, I think this week the tides will turn because Nico Vega is coming to town with Crash Kings! In addition to that we have Portugal. I know most people opt for having a barbecue on such a holiday but I will be driving to the Happiest Place on Earth for some Disneyland fun. I’m noticing how I start off every post talking about the weather. At least, I have been the last few times. In keeping with tradition, the weather is a wonderfully sunny 85 degrees outside. It’s been pleasant all weekend but all I’ve wanted to do lately is sleep. Maybe it’s because I’m finally done with school or maybe it has to do with being out 3 times in a row last week. I have to say that Friday night’s Jimmy Eat World and IAMDYNAMITE show was pretty epic. I’m smitten with IAMDYNAMITE and despite not being super familiar with Jimmy Eat World’s discography, I had a blast watching them play. Such good times. We have more coming this week with the likes of Bloc Party, The Neighbourhood, and Cold War Kids this week.

San Diego had a lot of awesome shows over these past few days. I know our friend Marissa over at Of Shows and Burritos made it out to a few of them whilst I was away in LA. Hopefully some of you managed to get out there as well. I’m currently back home after my jaunt to LA and while I do miss some of the glitz of LA, I’m happy to be back. We have some pretty awesome shows this week including hosting the epic Prince at the Hard Rock Hotel. Get out there people!
