I spent the vast majority of my weekend in a movie theater since they’ve rereleased the Harry Potter films in IMAX theaters all over. They started showing the movies on Thursday and it ends on Thursday but Saturday and Sunday provided a perfect opportunity to binge watch Harry Potter from the beginning on the big screen. My only regret is a few things I ate. But, the Barnes & Noble next to the theater became the Three Broomsticks and offered drinks like Polyjuice Potion, Butterbeer, and Wolfsbane Potion. Smart marketing as I tried two out of three.

I was so very tempted to see Cute Is What We Aim For at the Casbah this week but alas, I didn’t have the energy nor the desire to leave my couch that evening. Well, I’m en route home from watching James Bay and Joseph absolutely slay New York and Boston. I mean, just a brilliant show that has been very satisfying to watch on a much larger scale. If you haven’t seen either artist live, I highly recommend it. James Bay somehow manages to exceed my expectations every time and Joseph are just breathtaking with their music. I mean, I’ll stop talking about it but I don’t really want to. Just do yourself a favor and listen if you haven’t already.

Although I’ve throughly everything about my vacation, I’m happy to get back to San Diego. I’ve missed my horse, my dog, my drum lessons, and working out. Guess I’m a creature of habit. But I will miss eating like an absolute pig on this entire trip. #sorrynotsorry

This post is either coming to you from an airport or a plane, depending on how you look at when I’ve written it. I had a wonderful weekend with Kristen in town. Between catching an elusive The Silent Comedy show in Coronado, to seeing Arkivist play their second show ever, to the heat of the Adam’s Ave. Street Fair for Mrs. Henry and Creature and The Woods, it was a busy and enjoyable weekend.

I’ve been battling a cold for the past week and it better completely clear off soon. Although I’m feeling much better than I was, I need to be 100% by Friday for KAABOO!!
