Happy Monday! I had a busy week(end) although none of it was spent attending anything music related but that will change today! I’m heading up to LA for the Island Life show at the Fonda, which I managed to win a pair of tickets to. If I’m being completely honest, I’m only going to see Neon Trees frontman Tyler Glenn debut his solo stuff but the event is hosted by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, which is cool. There’s some other bands that I am not familiar with so there’s a potential for new music love as well! This week looks to be pretty jam packed so have a blast!!

Last week was filled with much spring cleaning, organizing, deep cleaning, and basically a whole lot of stuff I hope I don’t have to do again for some time. It did result in a nice feeling though and a whole lot of napping over the weekend. Today my street is being repaved and the entire cul de sac has had to move their cars to a different street. I’m hoping to find a place to park when I get home from the barn today but I’m already having flash backs to trying to find parking in LA on street sweeping days….

Last week was full of adventures! I drove up to Anaheim for Royal Teeth, Handsome Ghost, and The Summer Set and had such a blast. Then Friday I took a train up to Fullerton to see The Silent Comedy at the Slidebar. Sunday was James Bay at Humphrey’s who is always amazing and wonderful. I discovered a new band called Joseph who are a trio of sisters that can harmonize like nobody’s business. Super wonderful week!
