So, I had this whole spiel already written up and worked out last night so that I would have less to do today to get my calendar post up. However, I woke up with the worst combination of ickyness you could imagine. Between the spinning room, fever feelings from standing upright, nausea, and all around discomfort, it took awhile to get my day going and to feel less like crap. Hopefully, it’s just a 24 hour stomach bug but here is the weekly calendar….

Happy Monday! I’m especially happy this week because I’m flying out to Boston on Friday and will be returning Monday. This trip will entail some photography, adventures, eating, and hopefully some music too! I’m super excited because I haven’t really been to Boston since that 8th grade field trip when we just kind of went through and saw all the historical sights. It’s a drizzly Monday down here in San Diego. Normally I would be enjoying it more if it weren’t for the fact that I have to get back out to the barn by 12:30 to meet the vet for one of my horses. This will be the third time this month that we have had the vet out for one horse or another. I’m posted up inside a Starbucks close by and I can tell you that the line to get a drink here is nothing short of ridiculous. I guess that’s the way it goes with grey weather. Do none of these people own tea or coffee at home? Just out of curiosity….

This is also the week of one of my favorite holidays, Halloween! I am torn between going to dance class like a good girl or going out to dance with Transfer when they play the Casbah. Also this week is Two Door Cinema Club, The Neighbourhood, Father John Misty, and The 1975 to name a few.

It’s getting close to one of my favorite holidays of the year, Halloween. I’m still not entirely sure what I’m going to do, but I’m leaning toward Transfer at the Casbah. Holy crap what a crazy busy weekend I had! Once again this is the first time I’ve been on my computer since Thursday. I wasn’t even out of town this weekend! I worked a rodeo on Friday night and Saturday afternoon, had dinner with the lovely Lauren Ruggles and some other peeps for her birthday, and then went to see Dear Boy play the Griffin. It was their first show in San Diego ever! It was a good night with good people and good music, which always makes for a good time. Sunday was a snap back to the horse world of my life and it ended up being a long day in the sun.

Today is a good day though! I had a wonderful ride on my horse and I’m heading up to LA shortly to catch the last show of the Dear Boy residency at the Bootleg tonight. San Diego has a pretty busy week with Vampire Weekend, Jake Bugg, Bob Schneider, Phillip Phillips, Yellowcard, Get Back Loretta, and You Me at Six, just to name a few. Get your engines ready….
