Well, Coachella weekend 1 is over and I saw a slew of photos from it on my Facebook feed. However, Coachella is coming to us this week because the bands need something to do between weekends, right? So if you didn’t get tickets to Coachella this year, don’t worry because we have the likes of Cage the Elephant, Broken Bells, City and Color, Mogwai, Bonobo, Broken Bells, Bryan Ferry, Bombay Bicycle Club, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, and Bear Hands here to play some shows. If you’re anti-Coachella and that establishment, don’t fret. There is still a lot of great non-Coachella related bands to see like Semi Precious Weapons, Rags and Ribbons, and The Midnight Pine. So, chose you’re own adventure this week. You’re guaranteed a good time.

San Diego had a lot of awesome shows over these past few days. I know our friend Marissa over at Of Shows and Burritos made it out to a few of them whilst I was away in LA. Hopefully some of you managed to get out there as well. I’m currently back home after my jaunt to LA and while I do miss some of the glitz of LA, I’m happy to be back. We have some pretty awesome shows this week including hosting the epic Prince at the Hard Rock Hotel. Get out there people!

It’s SXSW time! I will be on a plane tomorrow morning and will be in Austin by the evening. I’m a little sad to not be doing the cross country drive but it will be a nice change of pace. I’m also looking forward to being cramped in an airplane for a few hours instead of the back of a car for many hours. Anyways, here are the festivities in San Diego whilst I’m gone.
