It’s Monday again! I’m home after a mini vacation up in LA and ready to rock out tonight for The Silent Comedy show at the Belly Up. After that I might just hibernate again. I hope all of you have been able to get out and enjoy some music. I’ve been so busy running around doing other important things that it’s hard to get myself out at night. I guess that’s what happens when you have to be a responsible adult and can’t behind the guise of schoolwork. Hopefully once I get this stuff taken care of or I can find some kind of rhythm or schedule to make it work. I think I’m going to have to start implementing mid-day naps.

It’s a scorcher outside! Whew! I’m glad I’m safely back inside with the air conditioning on because it’s kind of miserable out in the sun. Misery can easily be relieved if you chose to venture out to a show. With a cold drink in your hand and some tunes for your ears, you should be doing just fine. Unless the place you’re at decided not to turn on any air. I’ve been there. It’s not fun.

San Diego had a lot of awesome shows over these past few days. I know our friend Marissa over at Of Shows and Burritos made it out to a few of them whilst I was away in LA. Hopefully some of you managed to get out there as well. I’m currently back home after my jaunt to LA and while I do miss some of the glitz of LA, I’m happy to be back. How is it already Monday? Wasn’t I just at SXSW? What’s all this real life stuff I have to deal with? I am obviously not riding the same SXSW that seems to keep Kristen going. I did make it out to see Get Back Loretta on Friday at the Casbah but I’m having a hard time getting back into my usual routine. Hopefully this week the boat will right itself.
