Comic Con is this week! I’m quite excited to be going down to San Diego to cover the event with High Voltage. The options are a bit overwhelming, but I’m treating it like SXSW and choosing one or two things each day that I “need” to do and then just enjoying whatever else falls in between. My big three shows this year are Penny Dreadful, Banshee, and Supernatural, so if you hear about anything in relation to these shows, let me know!
Along the line of overwhelming options, let’s talk about Monday night and the biggest show conflict of 2014. When I found out that Twin Atlantic plays at The Troubadour the same time as Queen Caveat hits the stage at The Roxy, my heart nearly dropped out of my chest. Not to mention that Irontom is playing at the same time across town. I don’t understand why favorite bands have to play the same night in different locations.
Also this week, opportunities to see Nightmare & The Cat, OK Go, Paris Carney, and all the way from Ireland, Gavin James! What a week…
