Well, baseball season is back! I’d say this is a good thing, but I’m feeling awfully tense in this moment as I watch my team mid-way through a tied game. The good news is that after finally receiving an important email yesterday, life feels like it is moving forward again. I am celebrating today by watching a few bands in I assume someone’s backyard as the event is entitled Backyard Sessions. Thankfully, the rain clouds seem to have gone away.

Next week, my schedule is so full that I’m having to write in really tiny handwriting on my calendar (yes, I still have an actual paper calendar).  If there is one item that should be bolded, highlighted, and circled for emphasis, it is a show Friday night at The Slidebar in Fullerton where The Silent Comedy make their triumphant return to Southern California after a successful European run.
