My week started off with the words “cracked engine block”. Even for those of you who don’t know much about cars (*raises hand*), you would most certainly shutter if those words were uttered to you. As you might surmise, following those words, I’ve had a bit of a difficult week. I have learned a few things, however. For example, if you need actual advice from a mechanic, be a man (or at least use a male voice and name). Also, used car dealers can be just as sleazy and comical as portrayed in movies. Finally, if you’re looking for a new used car, CarMax is my new favorite thing. They have a modernized, buyer agnostic and practical forum for obtaining a new (to you) vehicle as well as letting go of an old one. If they only provided an emotional support therapist, it would be the perfect company.
Due to transportation related issues, my show going has been on the lighter side. Combined with the seasonal slowdown, next week looks to be much of the same. I must make the plug here, however, for what’s shaping up to be a tremendous New Year’s Eve at Lucky Strike Hollywood with music, comedy, and bowling. And did I mention that it’s FREE? If you’re looking for a place to land that night, I highly recommend it. Here’s more info: https://www.facebook.com/events/682965495569479/
