I think I’ve been seeing/listening to too many pop artists lately. They all just kind of blend together after a while and I’m left uninspired. I felt saved this weekend absorbing recent albums from grandson (I Love You, I’m Trying) and The Milk Carton Kids (I Only See the Moon). I’m not sure I’d recommend pairing the two albums together, but one thing they have in common is that neither will easily blend in with what is considered popular music today (and this is a good thing).

Hopefully the trend of inspired music will continue into next week where we’ve got shows from Meg Myers (w/ Weathers), The Stone Foxes, a very (very) busy Thursday night, and more:
