Happy 2024! I’m finalizing my 2023 Music Mix and noticing a lyrical trend that suggests maybe 2023 was not the best year for me. I’m hoping 2024 will begin moving in a better direction.  The year is certainly off to a strong musical start as the first week closes with gigs from Beauty School Dropout, Evan + Zane and Jack Garratt. I got a preview of new Jack Garratt material over the summer when I was in London and it was one of the best gigs of my year so I would particularly endorse a stop by the Hotel Cafe Saturday night…
