It’s been a week. It wasn’t bad or anything, but mainly wet and mildly frustrating. The highlight of my week was the Will & Grace Paleyfest panel in LA at the Dolby Theater on Saturday night. I’ll be back up this week for the Big Bang Theory/Young Sheldon panel as well and then I’m off to Nashville on Friday for the Nashville Farewell show at the Opry. I’m pretty darn stoked about that. I’ll have my laptop with me so I’ll be sure to get my post up for you before I fly back on Monday. Here’s to a new week!

It’s been a rather long week for me. I actually feel like part of my week was last week but it was a fabulous one nonetheless. I think it all caught up with me over the weekend. Monday and Tuesday were spent in LA having a glorious time with friends, music, and food. A touch of fitness was thrown into the mix as well. The highlight of the rest of my week was the Creature & The Woods show at The Whistlestop, a place I haven’t been to in well over 5 years. Well, I had planned on going out to both Emo Nites in San Diego seeing as how they were both here in the same week and I made it out to exactly zero events. It’s kind of a bummer but I’m still trying to get my sleep schedule back on track after a week off. Let me tell you, the early morning struggle is beyond real. There’s been a lot of naps too. It seems like I’m getting back into a routine so that’s promising. It’s so promising in fact that I’m headed up to LA for the Dear Boy show at Bardot. One of my favorite LA persons is moving away and I need to see her before she goes and this seemed like the perfect opportunity! I’ll be back sometime Tuesday, hopefully after some food sampling and maybe in fitness sampling? I don’t know but I’m super excited for all this fun stuff coming up. I might need a long nap after this though…

I am currently en route to Tuscon. Or I will be shortly after this gets published. I’m so thankful for scheduled posts! Anyways, this post was written in a bit of a stupor after a veeeeeeerrrry long day at the barn and a packing flurry. I promise to double check everything when I arrive to make sure I didn’t miss anything. In case you’re wondering why I’m going to Tuscon, I’m visiting friends and we are having a Harry Potter party complete with feasts and movie binging. I’m very excited but almost sure I’ve forgotten something important. Since I won’t be in town this week, you’ll have to get out and enjoy the music for me!!

As a side note before I continue with the calendar, I saw on the news this past week about Tay Watts and although I never got the chance to see him play at Tin Roof, I’m still very sorry about his passing. Thoughts are with his family and friends…

So, I’m still recovering from my cold. I’ve been left with a lovely cough but hopefully, it will go away soon. I almost made it out to see Judah & the Lion but I was slow to get tickets and the person whom I was supposed to get tickets from decided to up their price on me so I had to bow out. I’m super bummed I missed them but it was probably for the best since I’m still not 100%. But this is a fresh week so hopefully, I can make it out and about.
