This week I made a sort of impromptu trip up to LA to see Parade of Lights. I hadn’t seen them since Bottlerock back whenever that was and I’m soooooo glad I went to see them. I’ve missed them so! This week I’ll be doing my best to survive this stupid heat wave. Ugh.

I had a very busy week filled with a work party and back to back shows. I’ll also be taking another quick jaunt up to LA to see my loves, Parade of Lights! I’ve missed them so much! I’m not entirely sure what happened last week. It all seems to be a blur right now. Guess I was either super busy or super tired or some weird combination of things. But this week I’m looking forward to two shows in particular… Dirty Sweet, who swore they wouldn’t play again (so much for that) at their farewell show many moons ago and Nothing But Thieves. Last week I had the absolute joy of seeing Neon Trees at the Troubadour in LA! It was such an incredible and amazing experience and I’m totally okay with the four hours of sleep I got that night. It was such a joy to see a band I love so much in a much more intimate venue than of late. There were some amazing moments and memories made that I will cherish for quite some time.

I had what felt like one of the longest and most exhausting weeks ever. It seems like I didn’t get everything done and even though I was busy, all I wanted to do was take a nap. I had an absolute blast at KAABOO this year! I think my highlights were P!nk, Armors, Jason Derulo, Arsenio Hall, Alanis Morrissette, and so so many more. I’m super tired and feel a strong need to hibernate this weekend but we shall see. Maybe I’ll get the best sleep of my life tomorrow and wake up super refreshed.

I just got back from Vegas after spending the weekend eating, sleeping, and dancing. I was at the Mix 94.1 Bite of Vegas shindig where I made new friends, ate some good food, and got to dance to Vertical Horizon, Eve6, LeAnn Rimes, Rachel Platten, and Neon Trees!! I did miss Sean Hook, which is a bummer but the whole event was absolutely lovely! I’d totally go back again.

This weekend we have Kaaboo, which should be a blast! I can decide who I’m looking forward to seeing more… Pink or Alanis Morissette. I haven’t seen Alanis but Pink is such a badass and I’ve only seen her once. Thankfully they don’t have conflicting set times! Small favors.
