Happy December! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Mine was quite tasty and enjoyable. I’m still noshing on leftovers which is nice. Can you believe it’s almost time for Thanksgiving again? Wasn’t it just March or something? I can’t believe it. Also, this is my first year having to do a gluten free Thanksgiving so that means we are testing out some recipes to see which is the best. Also. we made a sourdough starter last night and I’m really looking forward to having some sourdough bread! I’ve missed that a lot. Also, cornbread stuffing and gluten free pie crusts! I’d by lying right now if I said I didn’t have “Shake It Off” by Taylor Swift stuck in my head right now. It’s kind of an awesome little mantra I have going on right now. I spent my Friday night in Pioneertown at Pappy and Harriet’s to see Transfer and it was pretty amazing. I stayed the night in a cabin up there and ate at this wonderful little place called The Natural Sisters Cafe on my way out of town. I have a 4 Day badge secured for Comic Con next year thanks to a friend who got in the room during pre-registration (I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have been called in) so, score! And to top it off, after having a serious case of the dropsies for the last 4 days, I somehow scratched my eye. That might be a little TMI but it’s a first for me. Oh, and I’m pretty happy to have Tuesday off from school so I can catch up on my art homework. So, that’s what’s new in Amanda-land. Enough about me though because there is a lot of music this week!
