With all of the terrible (and terrifying) news coming through these days, I’m glad there are some positive music headlines shining through. The FireAid Benefit Concert and stream including the Nirvana reunion highlighted how impactful music and musicians can be in these times.  I only hope the younger generations of music superstars can follow in the footsteps of the absolute legends who continue to show support to struggling and marginalized communities.

Happy 2025! I’ve not got many positive things to say about 2024, but there were some amazing shows and exciting new music discoveries. I wish I were in the Philadelphia area this week for the return of one of my absolute favorite bands. Philly legends, Jealousy Curve, are taking the stage for the first time in nearly 8 years at Ardmore Music Hall on December 26^th for what will surely be a night to remember. They have been teasing new music and I am having a very hard time acknowledging that I will not be there to hear it live for the first time.

LA is pretty quiet music-wise, but there are a few options towards the end of the week. I hope you all enjoy the Holidays next week!
