I had what felt like one of the longest and most exhausting weeks ever. It seems like I didn’t get everything done and even though I was busy, all I wanted to do was take a nap. As such, I slept in yesterday till 9:30am after going to bed close to 11pm! Guess I needed some sleep. Hopefully this week I can get caught up on a bunch of other stuff I didn’t do last week. Productivity is the goal!

I just got back from Vegas after spending the weekend eating, sleeping, and dancing. I was at the Mix 94.1 Bite of Vegas shindig where I made new friends, ate some good food, and got to dance to Vertical Horizon, Eve6, LeAnn Rimes, Rachel Platten, and Neon Trees!! I did miss Sean Hook, which is a bummer but the whole event was absolutely lovely! I’d totally go back again.

This weekend we have Kaaboo, which should be a blast! I can decide who I’m looking forward to seeing more… Pink or Alanis Morissette. I haven’t seen Alanis but Pink is such a badass and I’ve only seen her once. Thankfully they don’t have conflicting set times! Small favors. We have a massive heat wave coming this week and I am less than thrilled about the whole thing. This past week has been bliss with it being milder and even a little cold in the mornings. This upcoming week has temperatures averaging in the high nineties, I’m not sure how super coherent I’ll be at the end of the day. One thing is for sure, I’m not missing the two (!!) So, Hans Zimmer live was absolutely amazing!!! He and his orchestra did a bunch of stuff from Pirates of the Caribbean, Inception, Lion King, Man of Steel, and so much more. It was full of feels, love, passion, and excellence.
