Last Monday when this post went up, it was drizzly and grey. This Monday is set to be in the mid-seventies and mostly sunny. Bi-polar weather much? I suppose I shouldn’t complain either way living in San Diego and all that. We could be back east with the blizzard and such. It’s a tough life having sun around 90% of the time. I hopped on the crazy train and decided to try a juice cleanse for the first (and probably last) time. It’s been tough but I’ve somehow managed to survive. I technically have one day left but considering I was riding my 1100 lb horse today and going to a gym class, the juice was put on the back burner. What’s not on the back burner this week is some fresh shows for your listening and viewing pleasure. Wednesday is a tough one with Dead Feather Moon at the Belly Up and an LA invasion by way of Crash Kings, My Goodness, and Irontom. Tough choice. Godspeed.

I made it out to a show this week! I went out on Thursday to see some friends play at 207 @ The Hard Rock and it was a lot of fun! I wish the venue wasn’t blow your eardrums out loud but it’s always great to see friends up on stage. And thankfully, I was able to get up in the morning and be a functional adult. Yay! Whats not so yay is that this week is lacking in show opportunities. Sorry my friends.

I’m fairly certain the weather in San Diego has no been taking it’s meds for bi-polar disorder. Happy New Year! I’m staring mine off by going to the gym and taking some workout classes, organizing, and tossing the stuff I don’t need anymore. It feels refreshing to purge. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! Mine was lovely and quiet at home. I went to the movies on Christmas Eve and watched the new Night at The Museum movie and cried because I’m a sap and Robin Williams. It was a good movie. I don’t really have NYE plans yet. I haven’t really gotten that far but I have a few options to play with. What are your New Years Eve plans? Any resolutions? Attending more shows perhaps?
