Happy 4th of July everyone! No shows tonight except the one that was at the fair. I enjoyed the sound of fireworks from my home tonight. Have to reserve my strength for The Silent Comedy/Saint Motel/The Howls show tomorrow at the Casbah, which I know will be nothing short of insanity. I don’t know about you folks but I had a lovely weekend. I was able to make it out to the Bro-Am and the Bro-Am After party where I had the 90’s come crashing back thanks to Johnny Rzeznik. Little Hurricane was in the house as well and were wonderful as always! Unfortunately, I stepped on something at the beach on Saturday and ended up with a nasty sting/bite. I don’t know what caused it but I know it’s red and it’s angry. So I’m spending my Monday nursing an angry foot. Yay!

My sincerest apologies about the calendar yesterday. I’ve been running around like a chicken with my head cut off to get ready for Bonnaroo and this completely slipped my mind until it was too late. We take the red eye out tomorrow night and I’m not nearly ready. It snuck up on my awfully fast! I’m excited for it and boy do I need a vacation but why can’t things buy and pack themselves eh?

It seems to be a quiet week for music so far as I can see. Maybe I’m missing something? Ah well.
