Kristen’s LA Concert Calendar: 12/16-12/22

It’s been a great week of holiday music and parties. Wednesday’s venture to Largo for The Watkins Family Christmas was exactly as magical as I anticipated with the amazing Sara and Sean Watkins performing a Nickel Creek song with Matt Hales (Aqualung) and a surprise appearance by Jackson Browne. Friday night at The Hotel Cafe was another winner. My favorite that night was an acapella holiday song by Javier Dunn accompanied by the likes of Cary Brothers and Pete and J from Harper Blynn.

Moving forward to this week, my show pick is Irontom Monday night at Bardot for It’s a School Night.  These guys are headed for big things so if you haven’t seen them yet, here’s your chance.
