It’s another day in paradise. The sun is out, it’s warm but not hot, and the birds are making their own chirpy music. Yep, it’s a hard life here in San Diego. After all my outings this past month, I’m taking it easy this week. I found out I’m not 21 anymore and able to be out every night and fully functional the next day. This old girl needs some R&R but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go out this week. We have some great shows including; Atomic Tom at Lestats, The Burning of Rome at Soda Bar, The New Kinetics at Tin Can Alehouse, and Martin Sexton at The Belly Up. Get out there!

What a weekend! While I did nothing really musically oriented, I definitely was wiped out by the end of it. What was I doing? Funny you should ask. I was working at a rodeo. I used to ride in said rodeo but this time I was just a helping hand. I did get some boogie time with some country music but boy, I’m still tired. Oh, I did see the Blue Man Group for the first time last night! That’s musical. And definitely fun!

Buckcherry in SD

Tonight, I venture down to San Diego for my very first dose of Buckcherry. They play downtown at 4th and B. I’m not incredibly well versed in the Buckcherry catalogue, but I’ve been listening all day and have my concert boots on! May the traffic gods be with us…’cause I know once we get down there, it’s gonna ROCK!
