It’s October!! One of my favorite months. Actually, if you look at Facebook, it seems to be a lot of people’s favorite month. I hope you all have been up to fun things. I’ve been stuck behind a computer screen for my classes and it’s not very fun. I did get out to the Poway Rodeo this weekend (ok I worked it) and the music selection wasn’t half bad. Speaking of half bad, the shows in SD this week aren’t half bad. We have some major acts coming through; Ed Sheeran, The Black Keys, Florence + Machine, Grouplove, The Head and The Heart, Kimbra, Dr. Dog, and The Milk Carton Kids to name a few. Get your butts out there because I can’t.

You know, waking up today with a gloomy sky made me think I was still on the east coast. Sadly, my alarm to get up for school today reminded me otherwise. I had a fantastic and most memorable trip. It was lovely to be on the east coast not in the dead of winter for once. I wish I was still out there but sometimes, you need to come back to the real world. Maybe.
