I hope everyone had a wonderful and enjoyable Sunday yesterday. I myself spent it in recovery mode after going to three shows this week! Recovery for me included Mexican food, Netflix, napping, and some Chinese food. All in all, a great lazy Sunday. I do wish I had some kind of marshmallow goodness to munch on though.

Anyways, I hope you have rested up because this week is jam packed full of goodness! Apparently, Sunday is the night to be out with about nine different acts playing that evening. But don’t fret, if you can’t make something work on Sunday, The Reader on Tap show is an option for Friday with Transfer, Dead Feather Moon, and more. Or maybe you feel a little folky so some Miner and Spero on Monday night is more your scene.There’s also Kevin Martin on Wednesday or Shakey Graves on Saturday, or……

There’s nothing like the bliss that comes from seeing a band you love take the stage and kick some ass. What’s rough to deal with is the comedown from the show high and the subsequent withdrawals that begin to take place. Such has been my Monday after last week which was filled with Semi Precious Weapons kicking ass at the Belly Up and Neon Trees and The Active Set rocking out at a high school stadium in Murrieta. Bliss! We have some great bands in town this week like Cyndi Lauper at Humphreys, Dead Feather Moon and The Tilt at the Del Mar Rock On stage, and Free Energy at the Casbah on Sunday. More below!
