Life has been a tad bit more stressful than usual lately, mostly due to some untimely housing issues that have yet to be resolved. However, in the past few weeks, as if you all have sensed my distress, I’ve had an unusually high number of encounters with friends, some expected or planned, some quite random, and a few with folks I hadn’t seen in a long time. This is absolutely what I need while I’m trying to piece together my life and I really appreciate all of the amazing people I have around me. I had an especially good time last night at what was my very first “Pie” party. I don’t remember the last time I’d been exposed to quite that much delicious food.
Speaking of friends, one of my favorites is finally visiting me next week from the east coast. I am particularly excited to introduce her to So-Cal bands like The Silent Comedy at Harvard & Stone on Thursday and Dead Sara at Pershing Square on Saturday.
