This weekend is the San Diego Music Thing which is a very exciting event to attend! I like to equate it to a very mini version of SXSW (mainly around North Park) but we get a lot of exciting acts that play including but not limited to Sad Robot, Queen Caveat, Josh Damigo, Dr. Seahorse, Deadly Birds (last show), Little Dove, The Moth and the Flame, Dead Feather Moon, Barcelona, Meg Myers, The Griswolds, Andrew Belle, Fenech-Soler just to name a few.
