What a wild and crazy week with GISHWHES in my life! The international scavenger hunt really pushed me out of my comfort zone, altered my perspective on what is possible, and renewed my affections for this amazing city I get to live in. Since proving the existence of ghosts last weekend, I photographed moon fairies, gave life to a Garbage Patch Kid, apologized to Sweden, and attended a coleslaw party so wild that the cops were called.
I really intended to focus my time last week on the hunt, but I still managed to make it to a show…or two…okay, three! Next week is Echo Park Rising (http://epr.la/). I hope to see many of you there, especially Thursday night for The Diamond Light’s final (forever? for now?) show at The Lost Room.
