Last week I celebrated one year at my job. The anniversary unexpectedly put me in a weird headspace, so I did what I do anytime I need a mental re-set and headed to The Hotel Cafe. I ended up at three different venues, seeing 4 bands and running into friends and making new ones everywhere I went! I think it was at some point in the middle of a very heart-lifting set by Jared & The Mill that I thought to myself, “as long as I have my music, my friends, and my nights at The Hotel Cafe, I’ll be just fine”.
On the topic of music and friends, High Voltage is in need of some YouTube subscribers. I’ve spent the last few years helping to build the High Voltage video content by going to concerts, conventions, and festivals to interview artists and celebrities.
