After an adventurous and somewhat heartbreaking week of baseball, it’s time to return to the regularly scheduled musical program. This week is particularly busy (read: slightly frustrating). Echo Park Rising 2019 is upon us! For those unfamiliar, EPR is a free festival that takes place Thursday – Sunday with tons of great (and largely local) bands playing venues around the Sunset Blvd area of Echo Park. Also, this weekend we have Yola Dia at LA Historic Park and KROQ’s Hermosa Beach Summer Series which sounds like a delightful time at the beach with fave bands like The Score and The Wrecks and the reunion of Iglu & Hartley!
