Last week felt short on wins. It seems like a lot of people are suffering. I only cried once, however, and that was when Cardinal’s pitcher Adam Wainwright threw a complete game for his 39th birthday, a win on several levels! I also got an exciting virtual tour of a friend’s new home, announcements of new jobs and babies, and a brief face to face with a friend I hadn’t seen in months. Perhaps there was more wins than I initially thought…
Musical highlights included the always entertaining Gary Lightbody’s Snow Patrol top songs countdown, discovering new bands like The Heavy Hours and Moontower, and catching The Accidentals cover The Postal Service’s “Such Great Heights” which is a song that is very hard to get out of one’s head.
