I had a (mostly) great dream last night. I was hanging out at a concert venue and Biffy Clyro takes the stage as a surprise act playing songs from their new album, A Celebration of Endings. They played a (typically) aggressive set and with all of the moshing and crowd movement, I was able to make it to the front side of the stage. After the show, I found myself next to the band’s manager, Leo McGarry, the White House Chief of Staff from The West Wing (three guesses as to what TV show I was watching last week after reading a great retrospective in Entertainment Weekly). The dream ended with the band and everyone at the show scaling down a cliff face which, sadly, feels like a more realistic scenario these days than seeing my favorite band play a concert…
