I mentioned my 15-year anniversary last week, spending my first night in LA at the Hotel Cafe where I saw Dan Wilson. Last week, I went back to my favorite venue to celebrate and none other than Dan Wilson was sitting at the bar! I was very excited about this moment that seemingly verified that I’m in the right place…until about 3 hours later when I was on a bus de-escalating a tense situation by getting a punch happy ex-con to talk about restaurant recommendations in her hometown…ah, LA…
