Tony Lucca wrote a new song for the occasion of his final show at the Hotel Cafe, Cahuenga location and, as “Adios, Cahuenga” came to a bridge that was a list of artists that have grown from that scene, my eyes started watering as the memories of my last 18 years of going to shows in this sacred space flashed before my eyes.

I have a feeling this is a sentiment I’ll be sharing a lot in the venue’s remaining months.

Next on my list of can’t miss shows is Dear Boy Friday night at Zebulon. This is the band’s postponed show from the fall when they released their second album, Celebrator. It’s also singer Ben Grey’s birthday party which is one more reason to celebrate.
