It’s Thanksgiving week which is low on shows but high on gratitude for all the opportunities to see favorite bands over the last week or so (Nico Vega, Mondo Cozmo, The Wrecks – I’m looking at you!).  This year in particular, I’m also so incredibly grateful for all of the venues and venue staff that have taken care of me. Life feels so impossible so much of the time, but they make going to shows easy.

It was an emotional week seeing You Me at Six play their final US shows in San Diego and Los Angeles. I’ve seen this UK rock band in 8 cities and 2 countries over the last 15 years. They’ve been a part of some pretty memorable adventures and will always have a place in my best of playlists.
