Wow. What a crazy and wonderful few weeks it’s been! I spent some quality time with a friend and her family who I hadn’t seen for two years. It was wonderfully relaxing and good for the soul. That was coupled with two amazing You Me At Six shows and the cherry on top was When We Were Young in Vegas. I finally got to see Boys Like Girls after all these years, The Maine are always fantastic, Cartel was so much fun, and even the lesbians who were trying to hump each other on me during Cobra Starship couldn’t ruin my glow, especially because they played “Snakes on a Plane!”

Greetings from Boston! I’m so happy to be here and spend some quality time with a friend I haven’t seen for years. This trip also kicks off my You Me At Six and Enter Shakari tour following. How is everyone managing this heat? Spending a lot of time at the beach? Ice baths? Living under fans? Regardless of how you’ve been coping, I hope you are managing to stay hydrated and the least amount of cranky possible. It’s definitely put a damper on my going-out activities this week and I’ve been hiding inside as much as possible. I’m glad the weather is going to get back to normal-ish after Tuesday. I’d like to not get up at 6:45am if possible.

Also, in case you’ve been under a rock, Linkin Park is back and they’ve commandeered Dead Sara’s amazing vocalist Emily Armstrong! Hopefully, this isn’t the end of Dead Sara but congrats to Linkin Park and to Emily on her new adventures. We have a fairly busy week ahead and with it cooling down, there’s no reason to not get out and about.
