I have returned home from some adventuring with some friends and the inevitable let down has since set in. However, there are some awesome shows this week such as Anberlin, Joan Jett, Deadly Birds, and Royal Teeth. Hopefully I can get out of this slump soon by attending some shows. Happy Memorial Day to everyone out there. Thank you to all our troops both active and retired for your dedicated service to our country. I know most people opt for having a barbecue on such a holiday but I will be driving to the Happiest Place on Earth for some Disneyland fun. We have some fun shows this week to carry on the entertainment. If you have tickets to the sold out Cold Wars Kids show, have a blast!! San Diego had a lot of awesome shows over these past few days. I know our friend Marissa over at Of Shows and Burritos made it out to a few of them whilst I was away in LA. Hopefully some of you managed to get out there as well. I’m currently back home after my jaunt to LA and while I do miss some of the glitz of LA, I’m happy to be back. I can finally say we have a non-gloomy Monday that is bright and sunshiney without the same heat this past weekend brought. I didn’t get out to many shows but I spent lots of quality time with friends which was lovely.
