Kristen’s LA Concert Calendar: 6/6-6/12

SO much to report for next week, so I’ll just jump to that…

Firstly, one of my best concert buddies, Theresa will be in town. We have quite the agenda put together, but her trip revolves around an event she is working Thursday night with SPRAYGUN WAR (Buckcherry side project) who will be throwing an EP release party (check out Theresa’s snazzy press release: https://www.prlog.org/12561069-spraygun-war-debuts-at-forgotten-saints-la.html).

Secondly, I know Saturday is a packed music day, but if you have the time, I’d recommend stopping by NoHo PAC 2-4pm to celebrate the official launch of the non-profit, Music Is Power.  LMN has been a longtime supporter of our friend Ashley and her efforts to combine her skills as a therapist and love of music to make a positive difference on the world and we are very excited to see her take this next step forward. Come see what it’s all about. There will be live music! https://www.facebook.com/events/260343284309760/

Kristen’s LA Concert Calendar: 5/23-5/29

I had a bucket list experience last week when I was able to go on a personalized tour of the studios at Capitol Records which I found to be a place full of friendly people and fascinating tales. We were also treated to a performance by one of Capitol’s artists, SonReal.

This week is one I’ve been looking forward to for a while now. SXSW 2015 faves, Walking On Cars is FINALLY back in The States. Take a listen to the band’s debut album, Everything This Way, and I’m sure that will be enough to convince you to join me Tuesday night at The Bootleg.

Amanda’s SD Concert Calendar 5/16-5/22

It’s been a crazy busy week but I did get to see Billy Joel at Petco Park on Saturday!! That was a highlight for me and although I didn’t know all of his tunes, I was happy to know that I knew as much as I did. Plus, there were a few covers in there and Jason Mraz showed up for a song. Also exciting was the audience choice section where the audience got to pick between two songs and he would play the one that the audience screamed for the loudest. That was very cool.

I also went up to LA on Monday to check out Tyler Glenn’s solo music and that was an experience that I think I’m still digesting. But it was a lovely night with some wonderful friends I hadn’t seen in far too long. Yeah, it was a good week.
