What happened to July? Wasn’t it just February? Maybe I’m just a tiny bit not right in the head after all that Comic Con craziness. We go from Comic Con craziness to a week of music craziness. This week we have Kid Karate at the Griffin, Saint Motel at the Soda Bar, and the 1975 at the Casbah just to name a few. Strap in, it’s going to be another long week.

After all my Warped adventures, it’s been hard to get myself out of the house. I did manage to see Joan Jett and The Blackhearts at the fair this week which was a blast. Did you see my show review? Anyways, I think this week the tides will turn because Nico Vega is coming to town with Crash Kings! In addition to that we have Portugal. San Diego had a lot of awesome shows over these past few days. I know our friend Marissa over at Of Shows and Burritos made it out to a few of them whilst I was away in LA. Hopefully some of you managed to get out there as well. I’m currently back home after my jaunt to LA and while I do miss some of the glitz of LA, I’m happy to be back. We have some pretty awesome shows this week including hosting the epic Prince at the Hard Rock Hotel. Get out there people!

It’s SXSW time! I will be on a plane tomorrow morning and will be in Austin by the evening. I’m a little sad to not be doing the cross country drive but it will be a nice change of pace.
