SD Scene

I realize I failed on posting anything of relevance for shows this week in San Diego. Well, I failed to post anything at all. I really don’t know how Kristen does it… I was drowning in school work until today.

I do have a show announcement or two that I know of off the top of my head…

Tonight: Get Back Page featuring… Gregory Page, Kevin Martin and Chris Wilson of Get Back Loretta, and Joe Cardillo and Rich Dorotheo of Endoxi.

Tomorrow: Get Back Loretta @ The Casbah $8

And I’m sure you all know about Coachella this weekend which is where Kristen and I will be. Look for some video uploads and possible posts about the show. I’ll be sure to catch up with you lot next week. Promise!

Ready To Be Folked?

San Diego’s own The Silent Comedy are playing a pre-release show for their new record Common Faults Friday night at The Casbah after spending tonight in Vegas and last night in L.A.! Here you can see some lovely pictures LMN’s own Kristen took from the show last night at The Bootleg.

Anyways, this is a huge deal for them as it’s a full length which features songs both old and new but share a common theme. For more on that, check out interview Jeremiah Z. did about the upcoming record here.

I suggest you come out and folk out in true Silent Comedy style on your Friday night. You can get your tickets for the show here which also features L.A. based Links and Doll and the Kicks from across the pond (who I was told put on a great show). Should you not be able to attend said $8 show tomorrow night you can pre-order Common Faults here or attend Mustache Mayhem on April 25th to get a copy in your hand.

Here is a little something to whet your appetite for tomorrow night.

See you at The Casbah =D
