What a gloomy Monday it is in San Diego today. At least it waited until after my weekend of fun. “April showers bring May flowers” as they say, although it’s not really raining here. It’s just gloomy and drizzly which makes me want to nap. Thankfully I have a ticket for the acoustic Silent Comedy show tonight which will kick the gloom and get me out of the house. SXSW is officially over although I think we might be catching one last show at Stubb’s tonight. I’m happy to have had the morning and afternoon off. I don’t know how Kristen can go non-stop but this old gal needs a rest sometimes. If you’re lucky you can catch some SXSW acts as they continue on their tour like Atlas Genius (on tour with Imagine Dragons and Nico Vega), The Joy Formidable, Bob Schneider, and Ivan and Aloysha.

This early post comes to you from sunny LA. I drove up here Friday for a mini vacation, show, and some quality hang out time. Sadly, I return home later today and have some serious homework to catch up on but the fun times here are well worth it. San Diego gets the pleasure of kicking off the Muse Tour with Band of Skulls at Valley View Casino Center tomorrow night. What a show that will be!
