Happy 2020! 2019 has been an interesting year. It began with a new apartment, ended with a new car and had a lot of memorable musical experiences in between.  Due to the last two weeks of car madness, my 2019 Music Mix has not been finalized, but upon some reflection, here are some 2019 musical highlights:

• Matt Nathanson’s wheel of songs landing on “Little Victories”
• Two nights in a row of Gang of Youths at The Roxy
• A Dear Boy-filled SXSW
• Sam Fender’s debut album, Hypersonic Missiles
• KidEyes release of “Spellbound”
• My Spotify’s most listened to song (Donna Missal’s “Keep Lying”) and band (Biffy Clyro)
