I started an audio book this week that is over 40 hours long (typically audio books are 8-12 hours, really long ones being up to 20-25hrs). This length wouldn’t be an issue except it’s a library rental with a time limit. I’ve decided that in order to finish the book before it is due, I need to listen at 2x speed. So, if I start talking really fast this next week or so, let’s just blame the book.
What’s really made a dent in the 40 hours is a quick trip to San Diego today to see The Silent Comedy at the Outriders Music Festival. The Silent Comedy will be followed by Colony House at Belly Up, a band so good live, I’ll see them twice on this tour!
Next week we have an overwhelming number of shows and artists to see. From favorites like Foy Vance, Reignwolf, David Ramirez, Valley and Boston Manor to a slew of acts on my list to check out (Betcha, Pelch, gavn!, Birdtalker)…some difficult decisions to be made…
