The Wreck’s anniversary show on Friday will be one of the more memorable shows of my year for reasons both good (They played “Way With Words”) and not so good (getting body checked in an incredibly warm venue is not fun). Hallmark concerts are one of my favorite ways to keep track of time, but knowing it’s been 10 years of listening to The Wrecks makes me wonder where exactly the last decade has gone…

Speaking of time markers, the final Monday Monday tomorrow night will be a big one, celebrating the end an era at my favorite venue, The Hotel Cafe. This might be my final time at the venue which has been my home away from home since my very first night in Los Angeles 18 years ago.
