Amanda’s SD Concert Calendar 11/4-11/10

This past week was sort of a quiet one and a much-needed decompression after all the travel and music and such. Also, my apartment always looks like a hurricane came through right before I leave, so I’ve mostly been spending my time trying to put it back in order. It’s a process…

This week, we have You Me At Six finally making their way to San Diego with Enter Shakari!! It’s the last time they will grace a stage in San Diego and you can expect to find me at the front for this one. Even though Rocktober is officially over, this week is looking pretty stacked. Kristen’s LA Concert Calendar: 10/28-11/3

I was at a show on Friday waiting for the headliner to take the stage when the whole room erupted into cheers. The stage was still empty so it took me a minute to figure out that enough people in the room were paying attention to the baseball game on their phones that when the Dodgers won, it caused a massive group moment. Things that can bring strangers into a euphoric group consensus – sports and music – coming together.

Amanda’s SD Concert Calendar 10/28-11/3

Wow. What a crazy and wonderful few weeks it’s been! I spent some quality time with a friend and her family who I hadn’t seen for two years. It was wonderfully relaxing and good for the soul. That was coupled with two amazing You Me At Six shows and the cherry on top was When We Were Young in Vegas. I finally got to see Boys Like Girls after all these years, The Maine are always fantastic, Cartel was so much fun, and even the lesbians who were trying to hump each other on me during Cobra Starship couldn’t ruin my glow, especially because they played “Snakes on a Plane!”
