I am dealing with some not terribly pleasant aftereffects from a car accident last weekend. I’m squeezing in as many shows as I can while insurance is paying for a rental car. It’s been an incredibly rough week for me, emotionally speaking. I’m not going to bore you all with the details or the sob story. Kristen’s LA Concert Calendar: 9/25-10/1

It’s been an intense couple of weeks from Riot Fest in Chicago and now heading to Frank Turner’s Lost Evenings in Anaheim (with some San Diego-based baseball in between). I finally managed to get to the new Bellwether venue downtown, twice last week including for the grand return of Nico Vega! My big Bellwether tip is to get there early if you don’t want to pay for parking. They will let a limited number of folks into the restaurant 30 minutes before doors where you can sit and relax before being let into the venue a few minutes early. My other tip is to get to the Lodge Room website and grab a ticket for the next Nico Vega show, a headline event December 6^th!

Well, I finally got my dose of The Silent Comedy today at Moonlight Beach. The sound was great for an outdoor space and they played for an hour and a half!! Truly epic and special, especially since there were some deep cuts and great covers that made the set. I’m paying for my fun at the moment but I have zero regrets! Hopefully, I can get my back on board because next weekend is Neon Trees in Vegas! That’s one of my bright spots since You Me At Six postponed their US tour. Anyways, on to the week…
