To celebrate Earth Day, I took a walk around my neighborhood, taking pictures of flowers. It’s a good time of year for flowers, both planted and wild, and I live in a place with a variety of both. I posted the photos and my great aunt requested more wildflowers so this weekend, I went on a grand adventure to hunt down more flowers and ended up walking along ocean-side cliffs, rocky beaches, and a couple not so easy to get to random fields.  The soundtrack to my adventure was provided by Bilk, Pep Squad, Calva Louise and the brilliant new album from Sir Sly.  Now every time Bilk’s insistent earworm “Stop Pranging Out” comes into my head it will be accompanied, in my mind, by oddly juxtaposed relaxing ocean vistas.
