The British Music Embassy came to Los Angeles for the first time last week and I was there for it! It was four great UK artists headlined by one of my favorite bands to dance with, Red Rum Club. The room was full of British accents, but the vibe was transporting me to SXSW. We need more of that in Los Angeles.

My SXSW discovery coming to town next week is Dublin’s The Scratch playing the Echo Thursday night, but I’ve got quite a few recommendations:
