I took a jaunt up to LA to catch The Wrecks 10 year anniversary show in Pomona, of all places. The show was magical (albeit one of the hottest I’ve attended in recent memory) and especially lovely because they FINALLY played “Way With Words” after many many years of it being out of rotation. It was a sweaty time but it was a wonderful time!! The comedown after that show took… a while. No complaints though. No notes other than the choice of venue that apparently doubled as a sauna.

I decided to stay up there for The Strike, as they played SD on Friday (direct conflict) and LA on Saturday. So, why not? I’m glad to be home though and I’m in the middle of some prep before my birthday next week!
