Happy Monday! And what a happy Monday it is indeed. Tonight I’m trekking up to LA to see Little Hurricane and The Silent Comedy at The Bootleg Theater. However, the highlight of this month for me was on 11.11.11. Yours truly spent Friday night in LA and saw William Beckett open for Jack’s Mannequin. It was a wonderful night for me and I spent my Saturday recovering from the drive home in the rain.

Happy Halloween to all and to all a Happy Halloween! I hope you all are having a spooktacular Halloween (sorry, I couldn’t resist)! I’m actually staying in this year. I must be sick because I love Halloween. I suppose after being in Vegas for Halloween last year, coupled with all my recent travel, a night in is what I crave. I found myself at a loss of what to say today. Mostly because I’ve spent my day and will continue to spend my day rushing around in order to complete everything that must be done today. Yours truly decided to take a spontaneous trip this week to see a band since my last travel plans to see a band were thwarted when said band broke up. I’m headed off to New York to see The Silent Comedy boys rock The Bowery Ballroom among other locales. I had also planned on having a new phone during the trip but alas, it won’t be here till tomorrow when I leave. In the meantime, I have to go out to the horses, clean house, and pack. Oh and I have to get my mom at the airport as well. I have tix to see AWOLNATION tonight but that clearly isn’t going to happen.

But, San Diego has some lovely shows this week. Get out there for me since I’ll be gone 🙂

It’s Monday? Really? Where did the weekend go? It was such a blur but a pretty awesome weekend nonetheless. My weekend was punctuated with some sadness when my favorite band The Academy Is… announced they were breaking up. It made me doubly sad because I was planning to catch them on the west coast leg of Jack’s Mannequin tour but alas, no such luck. Thankfully, that was remedied by a music video shoot with The Silent Comedy yesterday.
